Behind the scenes
We, Anu Varughese and Sinju John, as a couple have been working in Lithuania for the
past five years. After completing his masters in Advanced Nursing in Lithuania, Anu
joined Lithuania University of Health Sciences. He is the first foreigner to join as
a registered nurse in his university. He feels that the course and the place he
chose to study have helped him to set a promising career path. Anu also serves the
university as a part-time nursing instructor. Sinju arrived in Lithuania after
marriage. The job security, the work-life balance and standard of living in
Lithuania makes Sinju believe that moving abroad was a good life decision.
Through Eduklink, we want to explore the possibilities Lithuanian universities offer
in the field of health and sciences to the foreign nationals, use our experience
earned through our stay in Lithuania, utilize the professional and personal
connections established through these years in Lithuania as well as in different
